Cleansing(a vital part of an ayurvedic lifestyle)

Our brain sends signals to our senses to select the right kind of food . Headache,gurgling sounds in the stomach,brittle nails,cranky knees,burps,bloating,swellings etc are the warning signs that alert us of the diseases in progression.
That is the time to pull the break. The time to detox and eliminate the accumulated ama(toxins)from our digestive tract simply by skipping a meal or following a three days khichadi cleanse. Once detoxified you can slowly come back to start with freshly steamed veggies and fruits(in moderation) adding some digestive herbs like ginger, black pepper,cloves coriander etc. to rebuild the digestive fire & to obtain optimal health.
