Ayurveda

Extremely rich yet simple in nature, Ayurveda is the world’s oldest natural system of medicine based on the three fundamental humors. Yoga is nurtured in the light of ayurveda and has always been the most essential part of ayurvedic practices. Ayurveda as a science of five elements and three doshas is an effective solution to our modern-day problems as it makes us understand our relationship with our own mind, body and the environment in which we live. Unique in its own right, this time-tested approach to optimal health has its own identity and its own process of diagnosis.

Ayurvedic philosophy provides a comprehensive knowledge of physical, mental and psychological aspects of life based on five vital elements which represent themselves in the form of three biological humors called vata, pitta and kapha. These dynamic energies thrive inherent in our system and can be tapped from time to time.

Chakra Healing in Yoga & Ayurveda

Chakras as the energy transformers are the core concept of optimal health and cannot be separated from yoga & ayurveda. The enlightened sages and accomplished yogis strongly believe that a chakra-based yoga practice helps maintain the spinning rate of these centers and enhances positive attributes towards all the seven levels of consciousness.

According to the seekers and scholars of yoga & ayurveda, it is extremely important to assess the excessiveness and deficiencies of these centers from time to time to keep them in a unified state of balance for health & happiness. In yogic thought, these esoteric energy wheels are considered the root of all healing modalities. Opening or balancing the chakras requires purity of mind, body and heart and by strictly following the ethical disciplines (yamas & niyamas) of yoga.

Note: This 20-hour course is an individualized one on one training program. Students are free to choose their days (9:30am – 1:30pm) to complete the hours within two months from the date of registration.
