A Powerful Healing Tool
Mudras are the actions of hands and fingers. Although there is no specific time, place or posture for performing the Mudras but to achieve the best out of Mudra Meditation, PADMASANA & VAJRASANA postures are considered the best.
In this Mudra thumb and forefinger is connected tip to tip with a light pressure, leaving the other fingers relaxed with the hands resting on the knees and elbows straight. Keeping mind uncluttered from distracted thoughts.
GYAN MUDRA is one of the most practiced Mudra for self healing. It relates to planet Jupiter and is extremely calming. It boosts the air element in the body, stimulates brain, empowers mind and nervous system. Excellent if you have VATA deficiency.
