Rudraksha according to Vedic scriptures is a rare gift of nature to the mankind. It is believed that when lord Shiva opened his eyes after a long period of meditation, he shed a tear of compassion due to extreme fulfillment and the tear grew into a Rudraksha tree. The fruit of this tree is known as AMRITPHAL (the fruit of nectar).
Rudraksha comes in various sizes, colors & faces(mukhi). Most of its beads have natural hole drilled in the centr…e and have mystical divine properties. They are widely used for medicinal & spiritual purposes.
MALA —— Rudraksha Mala can be worn or used for meditation(Japa). The Mala should have 108 plus one(SUMERU). Lack of this extra bead makes the energy even critical. The beads should be stung loosely with silk or cotton thread.

Modified or tempered Rudrasha should be negligible.
